GT: CleanserofNoobs
Descent is a forerunner installation that has recently gone under UNSC occupation after they had made landfall onto the mysterious Halo ring world's surface. Upon discovery, the UNSC forces found that this site to make a fantastic base of operations. In addition, this installation also happens to constantly process pure drinkable water, making the location play a vital role in the chain of supply for other local UNSC outposts scattered across the ring. This map setting was inspired by the firefight scenario within the second mission of Halo Combat Evolved. The centerpiece being a forerunner pylon that the humans must defend. First Phase has Elites attacking a building at multiple points and angles. Trying to capture either of the two territories segmented by levels. After which when the building is taken, Elites will reclaim thier bomb and use it to assault the pylon (core building) at phase 2. Again, the bomb capture points being segmented by levels of verticality. And upon success, in phase 3 Elites must retrieve the core that spawns at the top of the pylon back to thier phantom.
